Great band, Great venue, Terrible Sound
The guys behind the boards could not get the sound right at the second show at the fox. If you got too close to the stage, it sounded like muddy soup. The guitar, along with the vocals, was indistinguishable. All you got were thick bass from guitar and drums. We even complained to the guys behind the boards, and to their credit, they busted their tails trying to get it fixed. We moved back, thinking it would be better, and it moderately improved. The venue is a little awkward as the area directly in front of the stage has extremely high vaulted ceilings, as you would expect from an old theater. Then you get the overhang area from the balcony, which impacts the sound. We saw STP at the same venue a couple of months back, and the sound was off for that as well.
A great venue, with staff that is great and plenty of bars. Wailers sounded awesome and always put on a great show. Highly recommend going but be wary that it may sound off.
